Mustang Round-Up Remote Learning
2023 Draft
Remote Learning
Remote Learning - requires students to access their daily lessons using their Chromebook each day.
All students should check their Gmail and Canvas accounts, and participate in remote learning activities each day. Please allow a little grace to teachers getting everything posted to Canvas.
Assignments are expected to be done. Teachers are available to students throughout the day. It is best for students to follow their typical in-school schedule to complete and participate with their teachers regarding remote learning successfully. Many of our teachers have different course preps and different grade-level courses. They need a school class period schedule to serve all of their students.
Students should also expect to be invited to a Google Meet. Attendance at this virtual meeting is not required but strongly encouraged. It is helpful to have viewed lessons and completed assigned work before the scheduled Google Meet. These virtual meetings will not be a time of direct instruction but rather a time for reinforcing learning, for students to ask questions and have instructions clarified.
Keeping a Schedule
Teacher workdays are 8 am-3:30 pm and the student workday will be 8:15-2:15 each day.
Helpful Hints to Successful Remote Learning-

Questions?
If students expect a timely response it would be important to email them during the school day hours and, an even better time would be to contact them during their regularly scheduled class period, or attend a scheduled google meet.
If a student is too sick to participate please call the attendance line 405-726-5751 and email their teachers to let them know immediately.
