WISH WEEK IS COMING!
Hey Cresthill Community! Our annual WISH WEEK is January 26 - February 2. We will be participating in WISH WEEK along with all the schools in our Highlands Ranch feeder area in order to raise funds to provide a wish for a child with a serious illness. Look for fun fund-raisers and themed-dress days here at Cresthill and several restaurant nights in Highlands Ranch! We will also provide a way for parents to donate directly to support Wish Week using a credit card through MySchoolBucks.com! So students, save those coins and bills and bring them to school starting January 26! Specific details to follow next week! Help us make a big difference for a child who needs it!

State-Mandated Testing Updates
Dear Cresthill Families,
We are in the process of preparing for our state-mandated testing. To find information regarding our planned schedule for CMAS & CoALT/DLM testing, the DCSD Assessment Policy and district schedule, and information regarding testing excusals, please find your way to the "State Mandated Testing" tab on the Cresthill website. (Note: The excusals "portal" is open at this point should you choose to excuse your child from testing. We will ask that, on days of testing and if your child is excused that he or she stay home (an excused absence). If you intend to excuse your child, please do so as early as possible.) Thank you!
Note: The final building testing schedule has not been finalized but do know that we are planning to conduct testing during the first three weeks of April. A more detailed schedule regarding the testing window will be posted during the week of December 12th.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our school assessment coordinator, Mr. Wakefield, at mdwakefield@dcsdk12.org

Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IAGE)
Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day is an event for girls from 6th-8th grade to explore different types of engineering through participating in engaging engineering activities. Meet and learn from collegiate and professional engineers and see how engineers can positively impact the world!
Parents are welcome too! Ask engineering students and professionals questions during the Parent Education Panel, take a tour of Colorado State University's labs, and engage in our confidence-building workshop for insight on encouraging their young women in STEM.
We are so excited to announce this year's Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day will happen on April 15, 2023! Here is the tentative schedule for students and parents attending. Event registration opens on January 1, 2023. Register Here!
