Wolverine Family,


We have reached the last week of the school year. It has been a fantastic year and we hope to finish strong. We still have final exams next week so everyone needs to stay engaged and finish with their best efforts.


We want to invite everyone to the 2023 graduation which will take place on Friday, May 26 at 7:30pm in the HS gym. Come join us as we celebrate the class of 2023!


Please note the dates for final exams. Per school policy, absences during exams are unexcused unless prior approval from principal.


Good luck to all the spring sports teams as they begin sectional play this coming week. Also good luck to Max Hostetter as he competes in the Bloomington North Regional on Thursday, May 25.

Seniors: HOW TO REQUEST YOUR FINAL TRANSCRIPTS


Request your transcript online through Parchment at www.parchment.com. This will send an electronic copy of your transcript to any university or email address that you choose. You can use this service for free through the end of the summer following your senior year. You place the request, we get an email, and we release the transcript when they are ready.


Your parchment screen will show you the most recent version of your transcript that you have requested to be sent to yourself. If you want to see your final transcript on that screen, you need to RE-REQUEST IT TO BE SENT TO YOURSELF. Rest assured, parchment sends out the most recent version of your transcript regardless of whether you have completed this step or not.


COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS - Must be requested from the college. You can request the transcript online (links below). Look at the dual credit section at the bottom of your transcript to see where you earned your college credits.

Colleges will not accept final transcripts from students. Don’t email them a copy of your final transcript. It must come from the school that you earned it from.

Summer School

Summer school information will be emailed to each student and their parent. Some of this information has already been sent out. If you are assigned summer school for credit recovery it is essential you attend to stay on track for graduation. Contact the high school office if you have questions.

iPad Collection

All iPads, cases, and chargers will be collected for seniors on Wednesday, May 24 and for all other HS classes on Friday, May 26. Unless you are signed up for summer school, iPads with all accessories will be required to be turned in. Failure to do so will result in a charge for all missing items.

Important Information for Seniors

The month of May will be a busy time for all of our seniors. Please note some important events and check back each week as we finalize all senior activities.


Tuesday and Wednesday, May 23 and 24 - Seniors will take final exams

Thursday, May 25 - Senior trip (more info TBA)

Friday, May 26 - Graduation practice 8:00am sharp.

Friday, May 26 - Graduation 7:30 pm. Students are required to arrive by 5:15pm.


All seniors need to check their senior class google classroom regularly and follow all graduation requirements that have already been shared with each of the seniors.

Semester Exams

Reminder, attendance is required for all final exam dates and the exams will count as 10% of the students semester grade.


Seniors will take semester exams on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 23 and 24. Seniors will take exams in regular class periods. All iPads and chargers will need to be turned in on Wednesday.


Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors will take semester exams on Thursday and Friday, May 25 and 26. They will take periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 on Thursday and periods 2, 4, 6, and 8 on Friday. All iPads and chargers will need to be turned in during 8th period on Friday.

Textbook Fees and other Information

Statements for text book fees have been mailed home. Please submit payment to the high school office or contact the office if you have questions.

Free classes at Ivy Tech this summer

Please see the flyer below for the opportunity to take some free classes at Ivy Tech over the summer. Please note, these classes will not count as HS credits and will not be on your HS transcript. The credits will be on your Ivy Tech transcript. See Mrs. Mansfield with questions.

Student Handbook Reminder

Just a reminder to all students (and their families) about a few handbook concerns we are seeing at the high school. Just a reminder that all water bottles being used during the school day must be clear. Also, students are not allowed to carry a backpack from class to class. All backpacks should be stored in the students locker. It is both a safety and space issue.


Finally, as we approach warmer weather, just reminder that all shorts must meet the requirements outlined in the handbook and listed below. Also, no low cut sleeves shirts and no hats in the building. Thanks again in advance for your continued cooperation.



  • Shorts and skirts or dresses must reach the top of the ipad when turned horizontally and held at the top of the knee. No rips or tears above this length will be acceptable.
  • Midriff and/or stomach must not be showing. This includes midriff not showing during the normal course of the day (moving from class to class and getting in and out of locker).

End of year music concert and awards - Friday, May 19

The end of year music concert and awards will be held on Friday, May 19 at 6:00pm in the high school cafeteria. MS band will start the show followed by the HS band then finishing with the HS choir.

After School Tutoring

Is your student struggling with a class? Perhaps struggling completing assignments? We offer after school tutoring Monday-Thursday from 3:15-5:15. Each day is supervised by a classroom teacher. Transportation is available to the elementary school and the middle school. Contact the HS office for more details.
