Hallinan Elementary
Hawk Squawk 8/12/21
Principal's Message
Dear Hallinan Families,
I hope you have all had a wonderful summer! I've enjoyed watching our garden grow and sneaking a few strawberries now and then.
I'd like to welcome our new families to Hallinan - we have an amazing learning community that feels like my second family. We send out the Hawk Squawk, our weekly newsletter every Thursday afternoon. The Hawk Squawk is our primary means of communication to our families, please make sure to look for it each week.
We are all eager for your children to meet their teachers at Meet and Greet on Thursday, August 26 from 3 to 4 pm. We'll tell you more about it next week, but we want you to make sure your calendar is marked.
If your student will not be attending Hallinan in the Fall, please email Lee Gates at gatesl@loswego.k12.or.us (or reply to this newsletter) so we can plan accordingly and remove you from further communications.
It's a countdown - we are just over two weeks away from the first day of school. I cannot wait to see you all on Monday August 30! Full-time back in school, finally, right??
Until then, enjoy summer - maybe stay indoors this afternoon and read a good book!
Melissa Griffiths

Teachers will be familiar with your student’s plan and accommodations. To help better know your students, please complete the attached one-page profile or create one on your own ahead of time, and give it to the teacher at the Smart Start introduction.
