CSA Lincoln Newsletter
Friday, November 1st
Doctors, Police Officers, Soldiers and Firefighters
Happy Friday!
I like to think that Halloween is the safest day at school. With all of our kindergarten students dressing up as community helpers, we always have a large number of doctors, police officers, soldiers, and firefighters on hand if we need anything. Calvin went as a pilot, and under many protests by me, Audrey dressed up as a Purdue cheerleader. At least she is getting it out of her system now.
- Please put the BCSF Stars vs. Harlem Wizards basketball game on your schedule! It is Sunday, November 10th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Doors open at 1:00 pm. I will be representing CSA Lincoln in the game. You can buy tickets online, and you can also pick them up in the main office. It is only $10 for general admission.
- Please be sure to pack gloves and a hat for recess. Even when it is cold, we will be going outside.
- Both fourth-grade classes traveled to Simmons School, a one-room schoolhouse, this week. I have included photos from their trip.
- You are always welcome to come and enjoy lunch with your student(s). If your child wants other students to join you, there have two options. You can eat lunch in the cafeteria where school staff is available to supervise, or you need to get approval from the other parent(s) before arriving for lunch to join you in the CSA Cafe. Those parents need to call the school and give permission. This is not a new policy. Thank you for your support!
Have a great weekend,
Brett
