K-12 MMH and SEL Alignment
An alignment document that covers the K-12 grade levels of the Michigan Model for Health (MMH) curriculum and the SEL competencies from Collaborative on Academic and Social Emotional Learning (CASEL) was recently developed.
It starts by stating: "The health standards, skills, and topics taught in MMH and the SEL Competencies put forth by the Collaborative on Academic and Social Emotional Learning (CASEL) are tightly aligned. In this document you will first find key components of each and the overall big picture of this alignment; followed by a smaller grain size illustration of the alignment of Michigan Model for Health (MMH) by grade level, topic, learning objective, and standards to the SEL Competencies and their key indicators."
