Greetings Aspire Families:

We want to wish all of our students, families, staff, and stakeholders a restful and well deserved Spring Break! When we return, it's time for state testing for our 5th, 8th, and 11th graders on the AzSci.
Please remember to bring a fully charged computer, a charger, and ear phone that connect directly into the computer if you/your student is testing this week. Please refer to the testing smore for more details.

Students : stay safe, relax, take a moment to read a great book, and catch up on work.

We cannot wait to see you once you return.

Kindness Rocks-Garden: Any Aspire student in grades K-12 students can participate in creating a rock for our Rock Garden. Participation can be in-person on March 30 from 3:30-5:00 or created at home and brought to the Innovation Center. Additional details will be shared in the coming weeks. Students can also join us on the K-6 Assembly Zoom link and paint at home with friends online.

Seniors: Please check your smore for important updates regarding graduation!

Students: Remember to check your Canvas courses for end dates and make sure your MYHOURS are up to date. Keep up the good work! Parents and students, part time registration will begin at the end of March - early April.

State Testing: Please note that this semester is state testing season, mark your calendars to ensure that you are prepared and ready to attend required in person state assessments.

• Parents, if your student needs to carry medicine (inhaler, epi-pen, insulin) please request a copy of the "Permission to Carry Medicine" form from our front office (aspire@dvusd.org)
• Students must have this on file in order to access/use medicine on our campus!

Device Pick-Up Hours:

• Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM

Seniors who speak Spanish fluently can apply for the Arizona State Seal of Biliteracy, which would be added to their High School Diploma. Seniors do not have to be enrolled in a Spanish course in order to apply.

• K-6 teachers met and reviewed District Interim test data to plan for 4th quarter!
• 7-12 teachers reviewed the National Standards for Quality Online Courses and analyzed how their courses matched standards and indicators!

The Panda Express fundraiser was a HUGE success for our students, families, and staff! Thank you to everyone who was able to participate.

Be on the lookout for our Kindness Rocks event on March 30 from 3:00pm-5:00pm! This will be a hybrid event and a link will be shared so that families can participate from home or in person at the Innovation Center. Stay tuned for more information!
