Half Way Through
I can not believe that we are half way through the school year! Please do not forget that we do NOT have school this Monday 01/20/2020 in observation of Martin Luther King and we have a HALF day this Friday 01/24/2020 to mark the end of the semester. Report cards will go home the following week.
Our number one priority at Beaumont is the safety of our students. Please make sure that during morning drop off and afternoon pick up that you are attentive and aware of your surroundings. We ask that you stay off cell phones and any other distracting devices and always use a slow speed in the parking lot. We have worked hard to ensure that carpool runs efficiently as possible but that requires everyone to pack some patience and pay attention.
Beaumont is in need of Noon Supervisors! If you are interested, even for a couple of days a week, please contact the main office for more information!
On Thursday, the 5th graders will be participating in middle school visits. Lunch will be a little earlier as buses will be picking them up around 11:45 AM. In addition, there is a 5th Grade parent AND Student visitation on Thursday evening at the middle schools at 6 PM. Please make sure you attend!
The gym is almost ready! We are hoping to run classes in the new gymnasium at the end of the week!
An all school Jump with Jill assembly will be held on Friday morning! What an exciting week for our staff and students!

Dental Care Coming to Beaumont
Great news! Our school has partnered with Smile Programs…the mobile dentists to offer in-school dental care. CLICK HERE to sign up your child today.
Even better, dental care is usually at no cost to you. All insurance is accepted including Medicaid and MIChild. A low cost self-pay option is available for those without insurance.
Convenient and comfortable
Our in-school dental program saves you time and provides a safe and comfortable place for your child to receive gentle dental care from licensed local professionals. Dental care includes a complete dental exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride and sealants when necessary, and in some cases, restorative care such as fillings.
Dental care for a healthy life
Children who see a dentist regularly may have fewer health issues like:
• Early tooth loss due to dental decay
• Gum disease
• Heart disease
• Impaired speech development
Help keep your child healthy, in school and learning.

Beaumont Watch D.O.G.S.
There are 2 primary goals of the WATCH D.O.G.S. ® program.
1) To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.
2) To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.
The WatchDOGS volunteers provide real and important help for the teachers and the students. Who are WatchDOGS (Dads Of Great Students)? WatchDOGS are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for at least one day each year at an official WATCH D.O.G.S. ® school. During the day, WatchDOGS may read and work on flash cards with students, play at recess, eat lunch with students, watch the school entrances and hallways, assist with traffic flow and any other assigned activities where they actively engage with not only their own students, but other students as well.
Sign up here to be a part of the Watch D.O.G.S program here at Beaumont.
