Cold Weather at GHMS - What Parents need to know!

I know students will not often share this information with you (especially in Middle School). I have listed several measures we put in place when the weather gets in the freezing range.

-Matt Wallace

  • Students can sit inside the building when they arrive for school.
  • We make "Black Top" (recess) time optional when it gets this cold.*
  • Students not wanting to go outside may stay in the cafeteria.

*Please make sure students have coats, hats, gloves, etc. for black top time.

Lost and Found

Please have your student(s) stop by lost and found to pick up forgotten jackets, sweatshirts, lunchboxes, etc. Any items not picked up by January 31st will be donated.
