A Message From Dr. Hawley
Dear families,
Please make sure as we return from Thanksgiving break that your child is appropriately dressed for the weather. Students go outside for recess unless the wind chill is below 20 degrees. Make sure your child has hats, gloves, a winter coat, and boots. When it starts to get colder and snow, students can wear snow pants to play in the snow. If you need help getting your child a winter coat please let the office know.
I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks,
Barb Hawley
Traveling Over Thanksgiving Break
As you may know, one of the guidelines issued by Governor Dewine is the travel advisory to states with positive testing rates for COVID of 15% or higher. If you are traveling out of state for Thanksgiving break please look to see if the state you are traveling to is a state on the travel advisory list. Please click here to check the states. This link is updated weekly. If the state is under a travel advisory while you are visiting, then you are required to quarantine for 14 days after arriving back to Ohio. Please notify the office if you are quarantining.
Late Students on Live Streaming
Being Late for Live Streaming
Please make sure your child is logging into Zoom on time for each live streaming session. Your child will not be let into the Zoom session if they are more than 5 minutes late and they will be marked absent. We are having issues with too many students logging in late after the teacher has started teaching. If you think your child may be late or is having technology issues, please call the office and the office can notify the teacher to let your child in. Your child will then be marked as tardy. We appreciate your help with this!
FREE/REDUCED LUNCH INFORMATION
parent's are reminded that if you qualify for free/reduced lunch you still have to apply each school year.

Specials
Hello Online Learners,
We wanted you to know that you should be completing an Art, Music, P.E., and Technology assignment every week. We are adding new assignments to our Google Classroom every week on Tuesday. Some weeks you might have an activity to complete and turn in and other weeks you might have an activity to complete but nothing to turn in. We understand that everyone is working hard this year so we are trying to keep our assignments under 15 minutes or a total of about 60 minutes a week for the four of us. If you need ungraded Library or Counselor activities click on their bitmoji and see the resources they have provided for your children. You should have received an invitation to join the Specialist Google Classroom at the beginning of the year.
