Framingham Fine and Performing Arts
Outstanding Arts Education for Every Child
Happy Thanksgiving
A Message from Donna
Thursday we may be sitting down to a table that looks somehow different this year. It may not be our traditional Thanksgiving. Whatever your plans, a sit down dinner, a Zoom or Facetime dinner with family and friends or a quiet day at home, one thing has stayed constant through this challenging time. Every Thanksgiving when I reflect on the gifts and joys in my life, the opportunity to work with you, The Framingham Public Schools Fine and Performing Arts team is always on the top of my list. This year, more than ever, I am so grateful for the incredible passion you bring to your classes and your kids every single day.
I am beyond grateful for you.
Happy Thanksgiving!
FHSDC and K-5 Visual Arts Combine to bring art books to life!
FHSDC seniors have completed all six of your books. I will release one at a time each week. I am very proud of these students who, like you, have found a way to keep art alive even in this challenging time. There are certainly technical. sound and shooting difficulties evident but we hope you will use them to compliment the books when you read them in class. These student actors, designers and directors are great role models for your kids.
Our first release last week was Sarabella's Thinking Cap. I would love to hear if you used it.
This week was a special request from Erin Molloy and I love what the kids did. I think There's a Wocket in My Pocket! would be a perfect, book to use in this short week. I will send it to you in an email later today!
Enjoy and when you decide to share it as a part of a lesson please let me know so I can see if the director is available to join you and I certainly want to be there!
Thank you for supporting all our kids!
Cameron Presents: Scenes from a Quarentine!
Special thanks to Peter Birren for training Cameron's Stage Manager on StreamYard. The pressure he was under during this show must have been amazing but he handled it like a pro and now he has this skill as a part of his tool kit! Bravo Timmy!
This virus cannot stop art!
THANK YOU CAMERON!
