Technology Survey
The Kansas State Department of Education would like each school district to give a technology survey every year to their stakeholders. The link below is for teachers, students, and parents. Students will need to know their zip code in order to complete the survey. The survey will tabulate all of the information for us and results will be shared in the spring. We would like to have these completed by December 20th!

Text Complexity
The Kansas College and Career Ready Standards emphasize increasing the complexity of texts students read as a key element in improving reading comprehension. The Department of Teaching & Learning has prepared a PD OnDemand module that explains how to determine the text complexity of a piece of literary or informational text. Teachers who complete the online professional development will receive up to 6 PD points for completion of the knowledge, application, and impact point requirements. Click here to access the text complexity PD.
