Cold Front ❄️
It is defined as a transition zone. Its where a cold air mass is replacing warm air mass. It forms when cold air mass moves in warmer air. The warmer air interacts with the cool air mass with the boundary and makes precipitation. It brings sharp, heavy, loud thunderstorms. The weather after brings colder and drier air and can drop down to 15° in the first hour. And it goes to South West to North East.
Cold Fronts and Warm Fronts
Its defined as a transition zone. Its where a warm air mass is replacing cold air and moves from southwest to northeast. The air behind the warm front is warmer and moist then the one in front of it. Warm front moves more slower than a cold front because its hard for the warm air to go against the cold dense air. It forms high clouds like cirrus, stratus and cumulonimbus. The weather after the warm front passes is warmer, moist, and humid.
Cold Front vs Warm Front
Its two air masses that neither can be replaced by one of them. It forms when a warm front and a cold front stops moving it happens when they both are pushing against each other. The air is moving parallel not perpendicular so they can both stay in place. It forms a cumulus cloud because of its flat surface and brings clearer weather.
When a cold front over takes a warm front. When that happens the warm air is occluded and from the cyclone center of the earths surface. It forms around nature low pressured areas. There is two types there is cold and warm. The cold takes over the warm air mass and the warm just plows under both air masses.
