The Model Minority Myth Panel with World Ambassadors
Where: The Intersection (Tate)
The Model Minority Myth is when a minority group (specifically Asians or Asian Americans) are perceived to achieve a higher degree of socioeconomic success than the population average. What does this mean? That means there is a collective general opinion that Asians or Asian Americans are more "intelligent" out of all the minority groups. Come out and discuss why this is just a "myth" and see what our panelists have to say about it.
MSP & ISL APIDA Monologues: "Untold Narratives"

Students that identify as APIDA take the stage with Spoken Word, storytelling, and just plain sharing, as if they were “Untold Narratives.”

"UGA Lambda Phi Epsilon and Be The Match at UGA present our 2nd Annual Dodgeball Tournament! Do you like having fun, winning prizes and telling cancer that it isn't going to win? THEN THIS IS THE TOURNAMENT FOR YOU! Which team will take home the coveted Golden Wrench this year? Which team will be the best dressed? Which team will fail to proceed past the first round? Find out March 26th at Ramsey with your squad of 6. Also, did I mention that there will be live commentary by our very own Bob Thunder and Cotton Lightning?"
