A Message from the Principal:

Dear North Parents,

Our students did a great job navigating the adjusted schedule this week. Remember, our schedule returns to the traditional format on Monday with classes beginning at 8:42AM.

We had a successful graduation rehearsal this morning and we are looking forward to the commencement ceremony on Wednesday at 6:30 PM on our soccer field. If the weather doesn’t hold out, we’ll try again at 6:30 PM on Thursday. Seniors need to be in the gym by 5:30 pm on graduation day. Please see the email with the graduation details below. We are excited to celebrate the Class of 2023! Have a great weekend.

Take Care,

Dr. Kathryn C. Murray

Schoology message sent to seniors:

Seniors:

As you embark on the next chapter, we want to ensure that you are well informed about the digital assets associated with your GPPSS Google account. The Technology Department will be deactivating your account during the week of July 10, 2023.

To ensure a smooth transition, it is essential that you transfer your Google Files to a personal account or download them before the deadline. Please note that processing files might take some time, so it is crucial not to wait until the last minute.

Here are two options for transferring your files:

Transfer to another Google account (You would do this if you have a personal Google Account):

  • Sign in to your GPPSS Google account.
  • Go to the Google Transfer website (https://takeout.google.com/transfer).
  • Enter the email address of the Google account to which you want to transfer your files.
  • Choose the content you would like to transfer (e.g., Google Drive, Gmail, etc.).
  • Click on "Start Transfer" and wait for the process to complete.
Download your files using Google Takeout (You would do this if you are looking to physically download copies to another computer/external hard drive):
  • Sign in to your GPPSS Google account.
  • Go to the Google Takeout website (https://takeout.google.com/settings/takeout).
  • Select the data you would like to download (e.g., Google Drive, Gmail, etc.).
  • Choose the export format and delivery method (e.g., .zip file, Google Drive, etc.).
  • Click on "Create export" and wait for the process to complete. You will receive an email notification with a download link once your data is ready.
We encourage you to take action as soon as possible to prevent losing any valuable files or information.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to your school librarian!
