He was born on January 17th , 1706 in Boston, Massachusetts and died in April 17,1790.


He invented the lightning rod, bifocals, and the Franklin stove. His face is on the $100 bill. He is one of the founding fathers of the United States of America and is often called the First American. He was a author, printer, political theorist, politician, postmaster, scientist, inventor, civic, activist, statesman, and diplomat. He was the only person to sign the four key documents of America History.
