PEPS Virtual Meeting
Anxiety/Socializing During a Pandemic
Open to all District 57 families and sponsored by PEPS
Our PEPS meetings are typically reserved for parents of students who receive special education services. However, since so many of our students are experiencing similar issues, the PEPS group wanted to open our meeting to all District 57 families.
Please join us for a panel of the District's mental health professionals (school psychologists and school social workers). Information will be shared on how to support your child during this difficult time. There will also be opportunities for questions and discussion.
What is PEPS?
PEPS (Partnering with Educators and Parents to Support student needs) is a networking group for parents of children with special needs in any of the District 57 schools. At our meetings we will support each other by sharing our experiences, discussing topics of interest and addressing questions and concerns. We will gather information from other parents and/or professionals so that we can better support our children in their education and community.
