Jaguar Spawtlight: Lindsay Schwartz (Fischer) - 8th Grade English
This will be my 6th year teaching here at John Adams, and it was my very first teaching job! I was born in California, moved to Arizona when I was young, and finally settled in the Twin Cities area (Eden Prairie) which is where I grew up. I went to school at a few different colleges, but finally ended up in Minnesota State Moorhead where I majored in Communication Arts and Literature Teacher Education. I did my student teaching in a 7th grade English class in Edina, MN, and absolutely loved the middle school level.
I have the most perfect and beautiful rescue dog, Scout (named after To Kill a Mockingbird). I am a big Packers fan and love coffee and everything pumpkin. I also work part time at Pure Barre where I teach fitness classes. I love to stay busy and in my free time I like to relax on the couch with Scout and a glass of red wine and watch Bravo TV or Murder Documentaries. I also love to explore different wineries and breweries, especially if they are dog friendly :)
