An Introduction to the Christian Religion
Christians (followers of Christianity) go to Church to learn from the Bible (Holy Book) and to listen to their Priest. Christians believe in the Holy Trinity, Sabbath, Praying, Declaration of Faith,and the Resurrection of Jesus. Some sacraments of Christianity are Baptism and Holy Communion. Some holidays for Christians are Christmas and Easter. Jerusalem and Bethlehem are some holy sites for Christians. Abraham is a common figure to Christians because he is said to be a prophet. Christians believe that there is only one God. Their name for him is God.
Church
A church is a place of worship for the Christians.
Priest
A priest is a person who reads out of the Holy Bible at the churches.
Cross
The cross is the symbol for Christianity.
Holy Communion
The Holy Communion is a holiday that the Christians celebrate for all that Jesus Christ has done for us.
Holy Bible
The Holy Bible is the Holy Book of the Christians.
Church of Holy Sepulchre
The Church of Holy Sepulchre is an important religious place in Jerusalem for the Christians.
