RTI2 Reminders
- Fidelity Checks, direct and indirect should be ongoing and easy to find in Aspen
- Parent Home Reports need to go out after Winter Universal Screening. The composite scores are recorded as percentiles. Kindergarten and First graders will report the following in the area of math since they do not receive composite scores.
- Kindergarten records Quantity Total Fluency (QTF)
- 1st grade students record Number Comparison Fluency-Pairs (NCF-P)
- Progress Reporting letters with the graph from aimswebPlus should be sent home every 4.5 weeks
- Be on the lookout for the RTI flag in Aspen when students transfer from another Knox County School
- When a student is no longer receiving intervention through RTI2, remember to put an end date on the student plan and change the status from active to previous

Mathematics: Graham Fletcher said, "I wish I learned math the way we teach it today." He has been a classroom teacher, math instructional coach, and district coordinator. Reading: In order to determine skill gaps for struggling readers, we often administer more diagnostic assessments. One such assessment is the PWRS (Phonics and Word Reading Survey). The PDF below is a copy of the scored assessment. Click below for an interpretation of the PWRS video.
