End of the Year Schedule

Please find our schedule for the final week of school at the link below. Please note that Tuesday, May 24, is a Remote Day for all students and staff due to elections on that day. Teachers will communicate required work and/or available Teams study sessions or conferences with students and parents. On Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the school day will conclude at 12:40 pm, and buses will depart at 12:50 pm.

During this time, final work will be completed, and recovery and remediation will occur. Due to the importance of final tests and final opportunities for recovery and remediation, no pre-approved absences will be allowed during the final week of school.

Week of May 20 Schedule

Message from Ms. Agans

Sent Friday, May 13, 2022, from Ms. Agans

Congratulations to our seniors who are finishing up their year! A reminder that all feeder elementary schools have Senior Walks planned for May 18th at 1:30 pm – this includes Alpharetta Elementary, Birmingham Falls Elementary, Cogburn Woods Elementary, Manning Oaks Elementary, and Summit Hill Elementary. On May 19th, seniors are to report to Ameris for Graduation Practice at 3:15 pm. Then, on Friday, May 20th, all senior PTSA members are invited to the Senior Carnival at the stadium from 12 pm – 3 pm. Of course, the biggest event is Graduation on Tuesday, May 24th at Ameris Amphitheatre at 2:30 pm. Can’t wait to see these AMAZING seniors cross the stage and graduate! For up-to-date information on Graduation, please visit the senior page on our website. Congratulations Class of 2022!

While seniors are done, except for any remediation, our Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshman still have 9 days left in the semester. As mentioned in my previous emails, attendance is important – every day. At Cambridge, our teachers will be teaching and assessing up until the last day of school. All teachers will be giving a “gradeable experience” on the last day of school in their classes. Absences could result in zeroes, thus affecting your student’s overall average in the class. Please encourage your student to be present every day. Please go over grades with your child and encourage your child to use every opportunity for recovery. Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors – let’s finish strong!
