So, you've stepped into the digital age and got yourself a gadget, smartphone, e-reader, whatever. Now you just need to know how to read books on it...

We can help! St. Thomas Public Library is having a free workshop to show you have to use and understand (or "get") your gadget to download, transfer, and read eBooks.

If you're giving an eReader to a loved one for Christmas, this is the perfect time to learn how to use it! Send them to this free workshop, or come yourself so you can teach them how to use it. Please bring your device and any necessary attachment and cables.

For more information, call the library at 519-631-6050.

HUGE Sale at Friends Book Shop!

The Friends of St. Thomas Public Library's Shop, located in Elgin Mall at 417 Wellington Street, is having a HUGE sale on hardcover books!

(excluding Christmas books.)

Previously read hardcover books make excellent gifts because, more often than not, you can't tell they've been read before, they're only $1.00 each, and the money goes to an excellent cause - the library!

Shop Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Closed on Sunday

New donations arrive daily, so check the shop shelves frequently for more great finds!
