Celebrate career fair!

Thank you to everyone that helped make the Career Fair a success! A special thank you to the amazing organization from Allyson Parr and to all the students for their hard work and dedication! Student presentations were innovative, informative and exciting!

For Teachers Only:

  • 6th Celebration: The next one is 1/29.

  • Long Advisory Afternoon: January 22nd due to Q3 Rally.

  • Trash Pick-Up: 1/20 Kons & KAM, 1/22 Larin & Michaelis.

  • Safety!: Please update your YELLOW safety folders in your room with current rosters.

  • Incoming 9th Parent Night: January 26th @ 6pm in the NP3 Library. Please join if you would like to hear about NP3 High School! If you are not an 8th grade parent but would like to hear more about our High School, you are welcome as well! In addition to parent night, NP3 HS will also be visiting 8th grade Advisory classes January 25-29.
  • Quarter 2 Tutoring: Tutoring begins January 20th after school in the HWC for students who have been assigned to HS tutors.

  • Leadership Raffle: Student Government will be selling raffle tickets for gift cards at 50 cents apiece January 18th-22nd.

  • 2017 DC Trip Meeting: This meeting is for current 7th grade students who are interested in going on the 2017 DC trip. The first info meeting will be held Thursday January 28th at 5:30pm in Mrs. Silas’ room O-2. A flyer will be sent home with the students this week and it is also attached to this email.

  • Q3 Rally: Student Government will be hosting our Q3 rally on January 22nd to kick off the 2016.

  • Pizza Sales: 6th grade is selling pizzas after school on January 28th to help raise money for Science Camp. Pizzas will be for sale in the quad.

  • ATS!: Are you interested in getting a taste of the college experience? Academic Talent Search (ATS) offers 4th-9th graders exciting summer courses at Sacramento State that you pick for yourself! Choose from classes like creative computing, messy science, law, neuroscience, and many others. At ATS, you can spend your summer doing what you love, taking classes on a University Campus, and making new friends who share your interests and passion for learning! To join these interactive and hands-on classes, you just need to take the ATS qualifying exam. The test only takes an hour and there is no pass or fail, so there’s no need to stress! You MUST take the test to apply for classes, but you don’t have to apply if you change your mind. The qualifying Exam will be offered at NP3 on January 29th. Hard copies of the registration form are on our counseling website.   • Booster Meeting: The next Booster meeting is 2/8! There are always snacks! 6:30 pm in the NP3 Library.

  • Science Camp Chaperones: Parents who have been contacted by Mr. Kers about chaperoning Science Camp need to be finger printed! You may get your finger prints done January 21; 6-8pm in the NP3 Library.
