Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol, born in Pittsburgh in 1928, was an American artist and filmmaker. He is the figure head of the pop art movement of the 1960s. Warhol brought focus to the banality of the commercial culture of the United States, creating and then pushing the artist envelope of his time. He became a worldwide celebrity, befriending and doing business with people in the highest social ranks. This is one of his paintings he has done.
