Community members are invited to visit with Board members and engage in conversation about Board of Education business on Thursday, February 13 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Innovation DuPage located in the Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane St.

District 41 has begun the process of creating a new strategic plan. Superintendent Dr. Melissa Kaczkowski and planning consultant Dr. Mark Van Clay kicked off the process with an orientation meeting for the 55 member Strategic Planning Committee. To follow along, CLICK HERE.

All District 41 community members are invited to participate in focus groups.

The goal is to have a plan drafted and then approved by the Board. After the full board reviews and approves it, they will also identify their monitoring data sources and craft any strategic charges that will allow administration to spend the summer working on implementation steps for the upcoming school year.

The 5Essentials survey provides information to the district about how satisfied parents, staff and students are feeling about District 41. In order to receive a report, there needs to be a response rate of 25 percent of parents and 50 percent of staff/students at each school.
