This weekend our Junior BETA Club participated in the NC BETA convention in Greensboro in several different categories. We have a lot to be proud of as they conducted themselves in a very professional manner and represented Trexler with class. Below are some of the awards and accomplishments that our students brought home.

Volleyball, Baseball and Boys Soccer News

There will be a mandatory concussion/MRSA meeting for parents of any students trying out for volleyball, boys soccer, or baseball. If you, the parent, have completed the concussion and MRSA contract for a previous sport this school year, you do not need to attend again. The meeting will held immediately following school on Thursday, Feb. 11 in Mrs. Grunden's classroom.

Falcon Sports

Next week out Falcons basketball teams have two games. Both games start at 4:00. They are:

2/9/16 at Dixon Middle

2/11/16 against New Bridge Middle at home.

Candy Grams

Candy Grams go on sale Monday 8th through 11th for $1.00 during Homeroom. They will be delivered during the last class on Friday 12th.

Technology Tip of the Week

In today’s world children are surrounded by digital media on a daily basis. Digital media could consist of (but not limited to) sending a text message, watching Netflix, or uploading a picture to Instagram or Snapchat. Common Sense Media in partnership with other organizations completed a national survey focusing on tween and teen media usage.
