We have had a great kick off to the new school year. August went by very quickly and was filled with positive learning experiences for our students.
The district has scheduled 4 Digital Learning Days (DLD) this year. The first DLD is September 16th. Students will learn from home and our staff will be engaged in professional learning and planning lessons collaboratively with their team. Teachers will post asynchronous assignments on eClass for students to complete. Prior to the first DLD, teachers will show students how to access their assignments on eClass. Please let your child's teacher know if you have any questions.
As always thank you for your continued support.

GCPS and CORE have partnered to host a vaccination clinic on Thursday, September 15 from 3PM to 8PM inside of the Shiloh High School Commons. This event is only for students and their families in the Shiloh Cluster only.
This week, families in our cluster will receive a message from the district with details on how to register for the vaccination. Because the event is designed only for students and families in the Shiloh cluster, pre-registration will be required. The private link for registration will be included in the message that goes out from the district office.
From the Clinic
Thank you for all the clinic donations thus far. It is greatly appreciated. If you would like to donate to the clinic, you can go to My Payment Plus and click Partee ES Clinic Supply Contribution. Thank you in advance.
Let’s have a healthy school year.
Many parents ask, “When is my child sick enough to stay home?” This is not always an easy question to answer! A child who is sick will not be able to perform well in school and is likely to spread the illness to other children and staff. We suggest planning for childcare ahead of time so you will not be caught without a comforting place for your child to stay if he/she is ill.
Our school policy states that you should not send your child to school if he/she has:
- Fever – student must be fever free for 24 hours prior to returning to school without fever reducer medication.
- Vomiting – student must be vomit free for 24 hours prior to returning to school.
- Diarrhea – student must be diarrhea free for 24 hours prior to returning to school.
- Chills, Sore throat
- Strep throat (must have been taking an antibiotic for at least 24 hours prior to returning to school.
- Bad cold, with a very runny nose or bad cough, especially if it has kept the child awake at night.
If your child becomes ill at school, you will be called to pick him/her up from school. It is essential that your child’s teacher has a phone number where you can be contacted during the day and an emergency number in the event you cannot be reached.
Please notify the school if your child has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been in contact with someone with COVID-19. Also, contact your health care provider for guidance.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include:
- Fever >100.4 or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste of smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting

- Beginning September 12, parents can eat lunch with their student in the cafeteria. Please bring cash to pay for your meal. They are unable to take any type of cards.
- Birthdays can only be celebrated during lunch. We now offer ice cream for $1 per student. You have this option as a way to celebrate your child's birthday and other students in the class. Ask your teacher how many student's are in the class. No balloons, stuffed animals, etc. please.
For the safety and security of all students, please try to keep afternoon transportation consistent. In the event that changes are needed, please do the following:
- One-day change: Write a note and attach a copy of your driver's license. Requests can be delivered by the student, faxed to 678-344-4400, or emailed to Partee.Transportation@gcpsk12.org. Please call the school by 2:30 to verify that the request was received.
