Principal's Notes and Highlights

Happy Friday!

This morning we celebrated 19 American veterans at our Veterans Day convocation! This is up from 11 veterans who attended last year. The gym was full, students were respectful, and our kindergarten students put together a wonderful video (below) for our veterans. I have a grandfather who served in the Navy during the Korean War and so this holiday holds a special place in my heart. Thank you to the many men and women of our armed forces for your service! Below is a list of veterans who were recognized this morning.

  • The Lego Robotics Competition will be held tomorrow at the Foundation For Youth. Team members are Eliot Conner, Owen Schlaudroff, Andres Martinez, Bryan Gonzalez, Ryan Tucker, Greta Hemmerlein, Harshini Vemavarapu, Klohi Supernovich, Lydia Bodem. Table competitions will be between 11:30 and 2:00 p.m. We did a "walk-through" this afternoon to cheer them on to victory!
  • First Grade is collecting new and gently used toys, books, and games for the Fireman's Cheer Fund! Please bring your items in before Fri. Nov. 19th.

    The classroom with the most items will win a Pizza Party!

  • Good luck to our basketball teams as they take on Rockcreek Elementary tomorrow! The game is at Central Middle School and the girls will start at 9 a.m.

Don't forget to make CSA Lincoln your organization for Kroger Community Rewards! Anyone with a Kroger Plus Card can participate so be sure to get grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins involved!

  1. Use your Kroger Plus Card while shopping at the Kroger on National Road.

CSA-Lincoln will earn a quarterly donation from Kroger based on the percentage of purchases by our school’s members at the National Road store.

Husky Hustle 5k

You are invited to participate in the first Husky Hustle 5K. 3rd grade was asked to help organize the event by Melissa Wilson and Tim Green and support their efforts with Dancing with the Stars- Columbus Style. All profits going to support Family School Partners and Children Inc. (both of which are United Way Certified Agencies). The event will take place here at CSA Lincoln on November 19th. We hope to see you all here!

Perfect Attendance Contest

When: September 18th- December 15th

What: Perfect Attendance means 100% of the time the student is present. This means no appointment, no tardies, and no early dismissals.

*Students with perfect attendance will be eligible to receive a special prize.
