  • Cubs for Christ Meeting in Library (5th grade leaders and siblings may be dropped in front circle from 7-7:10 AM) all others 7:15 drop off at regular locations; meeting starts at 7:25 AM, doors closed to late entries with the exception of bus riders

HOLIDAY APPRECIATION AND GRATITUDE

Special thanks to all the parents and family members who gave so much of their time and talent helping shop for and set up the holiday shop and assist our young shoppers with their selections. It is not only a wonderful learning experience for our students, but brings them such joy to be able to surprise family members with personally selected gifts.

AR END OF YEAR CELBRATION GOALS

Bingo Bash Celebration- Grades 2-5 have been working on Bingo Cards. Those with a blackout by May 1st will get an invite to the Bingo Bash.


AR Pep Rally- Grades 1-5

AR goals to meet by May 1st for invite:

1st- 25 points

2nd- 50 points

3rd- 75 points

4th/5th- 100 points

*Many students in each grade level have met this goal already!!! Whoohoo!

--Donation items of Saints, MSU, and LSU are needed for this event. Drop off in the library anytime. Thank you.

WALKING CLUB MEETS DAILY

Walking club will meet every day except Tuesday due to Cubs for Christ. Please dress students for the weather. Duty teachers will send students in that are not dressed warmly on cold days. Walking club is only cancelled for rain.

FRIENDS CLARA, LEAH AND EMELIA DECORATE GINGERBREAD HOUSES FOR 4-H

Clara W., Leah C., & Emelia F. entered the local 4H gingerbread house competition. Leah won 2nd place in the elementary division.

CECILIA DANCED IN THE LAKE AREA BALLET AS POLYCHINELLE

Cecilia Reeves danced in Lake Area Ballet Theatre's production of The Nutcracker as a Polychinelle! This is her third production of The Nutcracker having previously performed the roles of a parlor girl and an angel.

Mariah Reeves danced in Lake Area Ballet Theatre's production of The Nutcracker as a Dreamweaver and an angel! This is her second production of The Nutcracker having previously performed as an angel last year.

Emma Reeves performed in Lake Area Ballet Theatre's production of The Nutcracker as a parlor girl and a deer. This is her second production of The Nutcracker having previously performed the role of a little mouse.

NEW TO OUR WEEKLY NEWSLETTER - STUDENT EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND AWARDS

T.S. Cooley has many students that shine here and away from campus. We showcase many of their accomplishments at school in our yearbook, shine boards, morning assemblies and awards days. After hearing about so many of their outside accomplishments we have decided to add a shine board to our weekly newsletters. We have many athletes, musicians, dancers, singers and other talented students who we would like to showcase. If you would like to share their accomplishments, please send a jpg photo and a short paragraph explaining the photo with details about the activity, length of time they have been participating, type of honor they are receiving or other information to barbara.lawrence@cpsb.org We will begin posting these next week.

Please submit no more than 5 pictures from an event/activity. Be aware that pictures are not guaranteed to be in the yearbook.
