Touch Screen

It allows people to interact with a phone, ipad, ipod ect. By touching the areas on the screen. It decects or locates the human finger on the screen which allows them to scroll down click on things and many more.

Drives

Hard drive, also known as a hard disk is a place where in a modern computer all of the files and programs are stored, so if the hard drive gets damaged for some reason, you will lose everything on your computer.

Monitor

Monitors display your data so you can see it. The monitor can turn off without shutting the computer down. They have several buttons such as the menu button, the auto button and the powe button.

Motherboard

It is the main circuit board of your computer and it is also known as mainboard or logic board. If you ever open your computer, the biggest piece of silcon you seen is the motherboard.

Input

Energy, work, or power used to drive a machine. Type in the information.

Output

Produce, deliver, or supply (data) using a computer or other device.

Process

A series of actions or steps taken to achieve an end. It's when something is happening.

CPU

Its a shortcut for Central Processing Unit. Without the CPU, you wouldn’t be able to play games, type research papers, or surf the Internet. Your computer would basically be a very expensive paperweight. It is the brain of your computer.

ROM and RAM

Main store (or computer memory) is divided into Read Only Memory (ROM) and Random Access Memory (RAM).

ROM is memory that cannot be changed by a program or user. ROM retains its memory even after the computer is turned off. For example, ROM stores the instructions for the computer to start up when it is turned on again.

RAM is a fast temporary type of memory in which programs, applications and data are stored.
