Term 4 Material Distribution/Return Term 3 Materials - Monday, April 5th!
Term 4 Material Distribution will be taking place on
Monday, April 5 from 9-11 am, and 2-4 pm.
ALL students will be notified by ALL of their Term 4 teachers,
letting them know whether or not they need to pick up materials
for their classes on April 5.
IF YOU HAVE MATERIALS FROM TERM 3 TO RETURN,
PLEASE DO SO ON MONDAY, APRIL 5th.
It is extremely important that students check their emails often between now and April 5 for communications coming from their Term 4 teachers. If students are unsure if they need to pick up materials for any of their Term 4 classes, please do not hesitate to reach out to their Term 4 teachers.
Equally as important, students need to know what MOI (Method Of Instruction) they are for Term 4, as that will play a key role in whether or not they need to come in on April 5 to pick up materials.
If you are a student that needs to pick up Term 4 materials on April 5, you will enter through the Field House doors (door 4), and then wait for the first available staff member at the distribution table to call you up. Students will need to write out a list of classes and teachers they are there to pick up materials for. Example: Ms. McQueen: Algebra 2, Mr. Flynn: AP US History, Ms. Carpenter: Sculpture. Once you have been given your materials, you will exit back out of the Field House doors.
ALL INDIVIDUALS ENTERING THE BUILDING ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK. INDIVIDUALS WITHOUT A MASK WILL NOT BE PERMITTED INTO THE BUILDING. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your Academy Principal.
Did You Miss Chromebook Distribution?

Student Screener Verification Protocol
Student Screener Verification Protocol
We are looking forward to welcoming students back to school very soon! When students return, they will be required to complete the COVID-19 screener at home daily before arriving at school. The preferred method for students to complete the screener is via the Skyward app on their phone or Ipad.
Once students arrive at school they will be required to verify that their screener is completed, and that it indicates they are cleared to enter the school building. To verify their screener results, students will be asked to display the completed screener on their phone or Ipad. Students who do not have a phone or an iPad will be able to have their screener verified by scanning their school ID. A temporary ID code card has been mailed to your residence for your teen to have for the first day of school. We will distribute this year’s school IDs when students return to the building.
If you do not have internet access at home or on your device, you are able to access WI-FI from the school parking lot.
Students/Parents/Guardians can access the Student COVID-19 Screener through Skyward. The student COVID-19 Screen link is on the homepage of each school’s website, on our District website, on the homepage of our SDB App, and on the Safe to Learn website.
Log into Skyward Family Access with your Login ID and Password.
Answer the two questions by selecting yes or no.
Submit your response by clicking Save.
If you pass the screener, a green circle with a check mark will be displayed.
If you did not pass the screener, a red triangle with a white exclamation mark will be displayed.
Any student that has failed the screener will be contacted by the BMHS Health Office to further discuss their situation. If the student “screens out” after talking with the BMHS Health Office, their attendance will be coded with E-IL for the duration of the time they are meant to be out.
Parents/guardians will be required to purchase a thermometer as part of their school supplies. Students are required to complete the daily screener if they are not coming to school due to COVID-like symptoms or exposure. This will assist us for tracking purposes.
Also, an Emergency Contact Form and the Emergency Medical Dental Form was included with the letter that was mailed to your residence. We are asking that all families complete these forms and return them to school with their teen. Students should turn the completed forms into their Academic Lab, Music, or Intervention teacher.
