Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year !

Welcome Back to School Video 2022-2023

Dear Methacton Families,

I welcome your family and you to another exceptional Methacton School District academic year. Our staff will be welcoming your children on August 30. Thank you for entrusting us to provide the very best experience by encouraging all students to develop their talents and inspiring them today and well into the future.

The commitment of our staff is unrivaled and it is evidenced through the high student achievement and success in extra-curricular opportunities provided. Our focus on core subjects of science, math, English, social studies along with a plethora of art, music and other co-curricular offerings has provided, and will continue to provide, generations of Methacton alumni with extraordinary career, life, family, and community success.

I am excited for your children and our staff as we Learn, Lead and Succeed in the 2022-2023 school year – TOGETHER.

Health & Safety Plan

The Methacton School District will continue to provide students, parents, and staff with information from the CDC and Montgomery County Department of Health with respects to recommended care when testing COVID positive.

New Arrowhead Elementary School - Snapshot Report

This extraordinary facility is designed to inspire learning and develop the talents of all students!

Positive Presence & Support

The Methacton School District has always had a strong relationship with the Lower Providence Police department. In the spirit of that relationship, the Lower Providence Township police will be making regular visits to our schools throughout the school year. These visits will help provide presence and further develop positive relationships and will support many of the preventative measures that we employ to keep students safe and allow them to thrive.

Stop-arm Camera Enforcement

This should serve as a reminder that beginning September 6, 2022, motorists captured passing a Methacton school bus with its red lights flashing and stop-arm extended will receive a citation for $300. The law is clear and so is our commitment to the safety of our students: Do not pass a bus with red flashing lights and stop-arm extended.
