Oak Ridge High School's Weekly Update
Keep your Head Up
This is a challenging time in our country. The economy, global pandemic, the inauguration, every where I look it seems we are more in conflict than we are in togetherness. It saddens me to dwell on the realities that exist - and as silly as it sounds I try to find ways to make today a Lovely Day.
When I am struggling to face the realities of life - the song Lovely Day by Bill Withers really does help me get through. I know many of us are struggling right now in raising our kids as we reflect on all the challenges we face. But there is something about knowing how this community takes care of each other that reminds me - it is going to be a Lovely Day.
You are doing the best you can do as parents and we are doing the best we can as educators and we will keep working together to make this school year a success, even when it seems hard to do.
Thank you for all the love and support and if there is something I can do to make this school year better for your child please let me know.
My best and be well,
AJ
