Language Arts News
In our language lessons this week, we finished our unit about Bible stories. What a wonderful miracle that God performed for the widow woman when He multiplied her oil! We experimented to learn that water and oil don't mix. We began learning about animals. We focused on sheep. We learned that sheep know their shepherd’s voice and will not follow another shepherd. Jesus is our Shepherd and we are His sheep if we know Him as our Savior. We compared the soft wool of sheep with other items that were hard, rough and smooth.

We finished our chapter counting up to 39 and writing and recognizing numerals 1-39. Review at home would be very beneficial and a great reinforcement. Just playing “what comes after ___?” or “what comes before ___?” would be a huge help! We began our chapter on addition up to 5.
