Something to Yelle About
The Weekly Newsletter for the Henri A. Yelle Elementary
An Excellent Week With Fun In Learning!
Yelle Newsletter for May 7th
Hello from the Yelle.
What a sensational week of fun, learning and appreciation.
This week was Teacher and Nurses Appreciation Week; our HAY PTO did a sensational job putting on a fantastic luncheon. We can't thank them enough.
The Big Picture above again can give you a sense of the learning in learning going on and all we were able to do just this past week: The top left picture has students working together yet apart; then a 5th Grade student made a painting of appreciation for the NPD; students engaged in some creative activities for Star Wars Day; these two students read passages of their books to one another at lunch to one another; the cover shot of the Appreciation video the HAY PTO put together for our faculty; and having a great time outside for PE playing Ultimate Frisbee.
These and the other pictures from Twitter below really do relay a story of the amazing accomplishments our students and teachers are achieving. Please check them out below and all over our Twitter feed to help to tell the tremendous story we are writing for this year.
Please also check out the rest of the Newsletter for info on the Spring Picture Day on Monday, new News from the HAY PTO, MCAS testing schedule (ELA next Wednesday and Thursday), clothes drive, a summer enrichment opportunity, and much more. Please check it out.
Thanks; have a wonderful weekend; Happy Mother's Day; stay safe and well,
Marty
