Dear Families,
Yesterday you will notice that a letter went home to families in grades 4 and 5 regarding the SBA (Smarter Balanced Assessment) scores from last spring. Accompanying it you will see a letter with explanation and videos to help you interpret the scores and better understand the assessment. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to your child's teacher.
This Sunday is Custodian Appreciation Day. Let's give a shoutout and thank you to all of our custodians who put in so much work each and everyday.
Finally, this coming Saturday, October 8th is the big 5th grade carwash from 10am-2pm. Please mark your calendar to come out and support the fifth grade for their graduation, field trips, and special events.

Lease Updates
Every year, we are required by GPS and CT state law to update our records for residency materials that have expired. We have started the process in gathering updated information from families. If you have a new lease since the expiry of the lease we have on file, you can proactively send us a copy to accelerate the process. Your patience is appreciated as we have a long list of families that do rent and it may take several weeks to contact families.
Additionally, the documents required with instructions for all types of residency are available on the Greenwich Public Schools District web site at www.greenwichschools.org /residency Link to
Residency.
If your address has changed, you need to complete a full residency verification package;
completing steps one through four on the Residency Verification Checklist.
If you have any questions, please call your the main office or The Residency Office at 203-625-7416 between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
