Varsity Girls defeat Saginaw 56-41 and are now 10-2 on the season.

Varsity Boys lost a heart-breaker to Eastern Hills.

Freshman A & B both played in the Decatur tournament last weekend and went 1-2.

A Team was led by Madison W., Harold O., & Brandon G.

B Team was led by Peyton H., Gage C., & Sage S.

Wrestling Results

The boys and girls wrestling teams both continued their dominating start to the season this past Friday and Saturday. The boys and girls both took first place at the tournament at South Grand Prairie. The girls team defeated the Returning Regional Champion team in the process. Overall we had 9 champions and 5 runner-up finishers. Also, two of our wrestlers were chosen as the tournaments most outstanding wrestlers. They were Nate M. and Alex H. Great job wrestlers. Our next varsity event is this Saturday at the Ninth Grade Center for the Outback invitational.

The boys and girls wrestling teams both continued a great start to the year and Both won first place and this past weekend's Outback Invitational. Both the boys and the girls put 6 wrestlers in the finals. Great job for the varsity boys and girls.

The JV boys also did well this past weekend scoring 370 points in the tournament with the next closest team at 240. Great job boys.

Exemption Procedures Fall 2015

Students may earn up to 8 exemptions.

Each class will stand alone.

Check the students overall semester average: IT MUST BE PASSING!!

Count the number of absences in Skyward vs. average for students.

The following count against the student’s exemptions: N-EN, U-U, U-UP, U-UT, A

Three tardies in a class will equal to one absence for exemption purposes.

The student must meet one of the following criteria to be exempt:

**A numerical grade of 70 to 79 with one absence

**A numerical grade of 80 to 84 with two absences

**A numerical grade of 85 to 89 with three absences

**A numerical grade of 90 or above with 4 absences

1. Students may be in ISS only one day and still qualify for exemptions.

2. An out of school suspension (OSS), or a Bridge placement THIS SEMESTER will nullify exemptions for this semester. Even if the student meets other criteria, they may NOT be exempt for ANY class!

A student with outstanding fines will not be allowed exemptions until the fines are clear. Make sure student is NOT on the library, book, or any other fine list or make sure they have a clearance pass
