Three Week Pause Dryden Junior/Senior High School Schedule
From the Superintendent
Dear Dryden Families,
Yesterday, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services issued a new emergency order that enacts a three-week pause targeting indoor social gatherings and other group activities in an effort to curb rapidly rising COVID-19 infection rates. Under this order, Dryden Junior/Senior High School will be closed to in-person instruction until Tuesday, December 8. Our scheduled Thanksgiving break (November 23-27) remains the same.
The remote learning schedule is enclosed in this newsletter. Students in grades 7-12 are expected to join their teacher's Google Meet or Zoom Meeting at the scheduled times or follow their teacher's directions to complete work individually. Additional time has also been added for small group instruction or additional teacher help.
If you have any questions about the schedule, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Although this is not how we imagined the Thanksgiving season, we remain thankful for our students, families, and staff, and we wish all of you health and happiness.
Yours in Education,
Mary Finnigan
Superintendent
