Tip of the Week: Rubrics

For every dropbox assignment in the course, there is a rubric that explains how to earn the most points on the assignment. These are located in the content sidebar and you will briefly view them when submitting a file to the dropbox.

Please always be sure to read through the rubric & assignment guidelines before submitting assignments to maximize your score!

End of Week: Check Grades!

Grades are updated by the teacher daily. Zeros are entered for missing assignments from the student's schedule. Students and parents should review grades and notify the teacher of any issues. Students are encouraged to turn in missing work for partial credit according to GaVS late policy. (Click picture to see details.)

Remember to always read your assignment feedback.

Though there is no class on July 4th, the same late work policy is still in effect:
Monday still counts as a late work day for Thursday and Friday.

Who Takes the Final Exam?

9th AB - Private or Homeschool Students (Public School takes EOC)
10th B - ALL students
10th AB - ALL students

  • Final Exam counts as 20% of your Course Grade for my courses.
  • All students must take the final exam on Thursday, July 14th between 12:00am and 11:59pm. The final exam is timed to 90 minutes. The exam must be taken in one sitting. There are no alternative testing dates. The final will close at 11:59 pm whether or not you are finished.
  • Ensure you have a backup computer and backup internet location. Technical difficulties are not an excuse for missing the final exam.

Review all content, practice activities, and missed quiz questions to prepare for your final exam.

DUE by July 12th

The following Extra Learning Opportunity should be used for a dropbox assignment (not a quiz or discussion). It helps most to choose an assignment that is a MAJOR GRADE. Refer to the gradebook for clarification.
