Nutrition plays an important role for maintaining good health. Food provides our bodies with the energy, protein, vitamins and minerals to grow and function properly.
Here are some tips to help you and your family consume the best nutrition:
- Eat more fruit and vegetables
- Eat whole grain
- Eat lean meat
- Eat more homemade cook meals
- Do not skip breakfast, lunch or dinner
If you are interested in learning more about eating healthy foods as a family visit this website. (please see below)
March is also Save Your Vision month!
- It is never too late to save and improve your child’s vision.
- Please continue to schedule your child’s eye doctor appointments if you received a vision referral from your school nurse.
- Please turn in referrals filled out by your eye doctor to your school nurse.
- For any question please contact your school nurse at 254-5237.
