Memorial Memo!
News & Updates for our Little Devils Families
Week Ending 11/10/23
Dear MES Families!
This has certainly been a busy month already and there's so much more happening! It was wonderful to see so many of our families at the Art Show and the beaming smiles of our young artists proudly showing off their works of art last night.
I try to capture all of these little and big moments and share in my weekly videos. I'm grateful you are enjoying them- please share these videos with you children. They love seeing them too! You can find the link to previous Memo's at the end of this newsletter!
We have Kindness Week next week...... followed by Parent Teacher Conferences AND Cardboard Engineering Day! (We need your cardboard boxes!!!).
You can find more details on all of these and more in the newsletter below!
Remember to thank a Veteran or talk as a family about the importance of this day.
Love,
Mrs. French

Cardboard Engineering Day is coming..... November 22nd
We are excited to see what our creative Engineers can come up with in a gym filled with boxes, recycling, Duct tape and more on November 22nd. Students will learn about Engineering design and read books that will tie into this theme. Some of our students will also design traps to catch a Turkey.
If you have cardboard boxes you would like to donate.... save them, (whole or folded) and drop off at Memorial School on Monday, November 20 or Tuesday, November 21st. - coming in for a parent teacher conference? That's a great time to drop off some of your unused Amazon boxes!
We could use a few parent volunteers on the morning of Wednesday, November 22nd to help with cutting cardboard and Duct tape for all of our Engineers. Reach out to your classroom teacher or Mrs. French if you'd like to help.
November 22nd is an early release at 11:30 with NO Lunch served.
Notes from Nurse Mona
Students sometimes get messy and wet while playing hard at school. Please be prepared by having an extra set of clothes in a bag in the bottom of your child's backpack. This is will make it easy to find them in the event we need them for your child.
