Hello Parents,
We are almost ready to welcome your children back to school if you have chosen the face to face environment at this time. You child's teacher will be sending you an email tomorrow with several documents for you to review with your child before returning to school. These "Back to School" documents will also be posted in the Google Classroom by noon tomorrow for your reference.
Even if your child is going to stay at home for virtual learning, please be sure to review the Title I information from your teacher tomorrow.
All parents please be sure to fill out the Google form link they provide so we will know you received the information.
If you purchased school supplies for your child and picked those up, please be sure to send their supplies to school with them on Wednesday, September 9, when they return so they will have everything they need in class.
Every child is allowed to receive a free breakfast at our campus if they choose to eat. Breakfast will be eaten in a classroom in each grade level area, not in the cafeteria, so we can ensure social distancing.
Please be sure your child is at school by 7:30 every day. It is important that they have time to get into their classroom, get unpacked, and ready for instruction. Instruction will start at 7:40 and if your child is not in their classroom (not running in the door) by that time, they will be marked tardy. Please have your child wear a name tag or hold a piece of paper on the first day back that has their name, grade, and teacher name so staff can help get them to their classroom.
We can't wait to see everyone next Wednesday, September 9! If you have any questions about the return to school, please feel free to reach out to me by email: crystal.roach@pisd.edu.
Thanks,
Crystal Roach, Principal

Rescheduled Scout Meeting - Pack 1225
Due to technical problems during the last attempted Zoom, the next Scout Meeting has been rescheduled for this Thursday, September 3, via Zoom (7:00 pm). See attached flyer!
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing programs for young people that build character. As a Patriotic Society and per Texas legislation, Boy Scouts of America is allowed an opportunity to speak to students during regular school hours about membership. This year, instead of a campus visit, the Scouts provided a video, which was shown to Jackson students this week.
