Blue Jay Bulletin for Parents

Dear Blue Jay Families,

Our state assessments, elementary track day, and awards day are a few upcoming events that signal the end of the school year is near. As we approach these final weeks I am thankful we are able to participate in these and many other events while in school!

Announcements for the coming weeks...

  • Energy Bus Principle 7 "Enjoy the Ride" video and May 2021 calendar are below.
  • MAP Tests for grades 3-6 will be finishing up this week! Students are showing great effort!
  • Elementary Track Day on May 11 at Blue Jay Stadium - grades 3-4 will compete at 8:30am, grades 5-6 at noon. Families are invited to attend. Concessions will not be available at the Stadium, feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.
  • K-2 Fun Day on May 14 at the school starting at noon. Students will participate in a variety of different games, activities, and competitions. If interested in volunteering please contact the school.
  • Students will find out their classroom teacher for next year on May 14 (Step-Up Day). Supply lists will also be sent home that day.
  • Awards Assemblies will be in-person on May 18 in the South Gym. Grades 5-6 from 8:30-9:30am, grades 3-4 from 9:40-10:25am, and grades 1-2 from 10:35-11:20am. Families are invited to attend.
  • Friendly reminder that May 19 and 20 will be early dismissal days at 12:05.

Thank you to the many parents and students that have filled out the "You're Awesome, You're the Best, You Rock" postcards and mailed them to school. Any time is a good time to share a positive compliment with someone.
