FAB Labs, DMAX Expo, & Make-a-Thon at Dartmouth
The Dartmouth FAB Lab and Make-A-Thon are part of the Digital Music and Arts Festival (DMAX). Both will be housed in the Hopkins Center Garage, opposite Courtyard Café and the Hop Ticket Office. Join us for a celebration of sustainable jewelry and a sneak peek at the “Beyond the Blue Box” exhibition! At 6 pm, the evening officially kicks off with a talk and panel discussion with Ethical Metalsmiths Executive Director Christina Miller, Radical Jewelry Makeover Director Susie Ganch, Upper Valley metalsmith Paulette Werger, Designer Gold founder Paul Gross and more. Cardigan Mountain School: Gates Invention & Innovation Program Instructor
The Gates Invention and Innovation program offers an exciting blend of hands-on and minds-on activities for young men in sixth through ninth grades. Students work in both office and workshop settings to research, develop, build, and present proof of concept models of their ideas. The Gates Instructor works in tandem with the Director to inspire and support productive young entrepreneurs, creative thinkers, scientists and engineers with a focus on the STEM disciplines.
