The Cause Of Cystic Fibrosis
Cystic Fibrosis is not an infectious disease ,but caused by hereditary chronic disease that is inherited through your genes.
Signs of Cystic Fibrosis
In newborns you can see signs of delayed growth,no bowel movement in the first 24 to 48 hours of life,and salty skin.Cystic Fibrosis can only be diagnosed in a child's infancy so that it can be treated.
This are the symptoms for a child,if the child is not gaining weight appropriately,has abdominal pain,nausea and loss of appetite.There is also some pulmonary symptoms like coughing,fatigue,nasal congestion,recurrent episodes of pneumonia and some other respiratory infection,and sinus pain and pressure.
Treatment And Prevention
Cystic Fibrosis has no cure,but there is a treatment to help slow down or stopping it from progression.Treatment includes a tapping motion to reduce coughing and release mucus from the lungs,the use of nebulizers to liquefy secretions,bronchodilators to open the respiratory tracts and antibiotics are used to treat recurrent infections. Treatment is multidisciplinary and long term.
