*Students will be dismissed at the conclusion of testing (Roughly 11:00am)


*Only students taking the End of course exams will be required to report to school for testing.

Jostens will be here on Monday, April 16th at 7:00 am in the Commons to deliver seniors cap and gown orders. That's the Tuesday when we come back from break.


If you owe money, you will receive an envelope in the mail, or you can come and ask me.


You'll have to be here by 7:15 that day.

Otsego Endowment Reverse Raffle & Dinner

Friday, April 13th, 6pm

Tickets are now on sale for the Otsego Endowment Foundation Reverse Raffle & Dinner. The dinner will be in the larger Ladyglen Ballroom of Nazareth Hall this year with more fun and prizes throughout the night.


Contact the High School Office if you are interested in purchasing tickets for the event or would like to make a donation. It's a great evening that supports a really good cause. The foundation, through grants, provides enriching, educational opportunities not otherwise available due to school budget constraints.

OVLA utilizes the online curriculum provided through the Northwest Ohio Virtual Academy (NOVA) called Connexus. Connexus is a rigorous, college preparatory, virtual learning program developed by Pearson Education that offers nearly 600 online courses. This is a K-12 curriculum program which offers a Gifted and Talented option for most grades.

Lifeguard Positions Available

The Grand Rapids Area Swimming Pool has approximately two lifeguard positions that need to be filled for the start of the season in May. There is a certification class at BGSU that starts this Friday April 13, with a prior qualification test from 7-9. Classes then follow on April 14,15, 21,22. The certification, which is good for two years, cost $180.00 and is reimbursable over a two-season period with satisfactory employment. The University Of Toledo has a program as well that runs from May 10 thru May 20.

Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation created the ExploreAg program to provide students with opportunities to see, understand and explore the huge variety of educational and career opportunities open to them. Explore Ag hopes to open students' eyes to opportunities in agriculture. Please check out the details below regarding a new STEM based camp. ExploreAg is a FREE weeklong experience for high school freshmen and sophomores.

Below are a few ways to connect with us and to have access to updates and communications from us. Please remember that we desire two-way communication and encourage everyone to reach out to us and ask questions, voice concerns, and give feedback. Thank You.


1. High School Website www.otsegoknights.org has a new look! The new Otsego Local Schools site will more effectively highlight what is important to us and the community. The new website layout uses responsive design, meaning that it will adjust for tablets and mobile devices. We will keep the high school site updated with pictures, news articles, and other important information regarding the district and the building.


2. Remind 101 (Text to: 81010 Message: @otseg there is no "o" at the end just @otseg. That's it. You will receive a message that says you've been added to our group. You will receive text messages straight to your mobile device). If you don't want to text, you can go to https://www.remind.com/join and just type in (otseg) as the class code.
