Here we are! #TheLastThreeDays
We have many ExExExCiting events these last three days as we wrap up the school year. Scholars will have an all school PBIS event on Wednesday where they can spend their PBIS bucks. It will also be a Redskin Spirit day which includes a free hat day!
We will have our Celebrations on Tuesday -- during the day for 6th and 7th grade and in the evening for 8th grade.
If you would like your child's report card sent home, please send in a self addressed stamped envelope. We will have the office open from 9-3 Tuesday 5/29 - Friday 6/1 for report card pick up!
These days are going to fly by! I am sad thinking that this is our last #CelebrateMonday with scholars for a few weeks! We have had such a great year together!

Notes from Ms. Raeburn (the •10)
The school year has absolutely flown by! We have three days of elite instruction left for the year. I am proud of the hard work of all our scholars for all 180 days. We have laughed together, cried together, worked through challenges together, and ultimately grown together! I am so proud of each of these 478 scholars and can't wait to continue to watch them grow!
Our results are trickling in. If you are a current 8th grader and did not score a 2/3/or 4 on the test (Developing, Proficient, Distinguished) you will be required to attend the remediation and retest. Information will be personally sent to each scholar and I will be making phone calls home tomorrow. The remediation week (Tuesday May 29- Friday June 1st) is optional but HIGHLY recommended. The retest week, Monday June 4th - Thursday June 7th is mandatory! Transportation will be provided. We want our scholars to be their very best and show us what they know! We are excited that they will be getting a second opportunity to #LevelUP
Summer Experience is available for our Rising 8th graders and if you qualify based on your GMAS and MAP scores, we will be sending letters home tomorrow. Summer Experience week begins June11th and will go through the month of June (no Fridays) from 9-2.
- Save your box tops for the summer!

I have had the best year of my life serving as the #ProudPrincipal of Bryan County Middle School. I am looking forward to finishing out the year strong and being even better next year! Thank you for supporting the work we do every day at BCMS! It takes a village and we love ours!
Monday Night at 8:00 PM! I will be leading the #LearnLAP twitter chat! I am so ExExExCited to be moderating this awesome chat in my PLN and would love for it to have BCMS stamped all over it!
#TheLastThreeDays- The 15
Here we go!
The #LastThreeDays is a social, emotional learning project aimed to focus on and build social emotional skills in our scholars. During the #LastThreeDays, all whole group and small group instruction will be built around those types of skills and that type of learning. Below is a variety of resources you can use to begin to plan your days. Also, don't be afraid to try something great. Maybe split up your WHOLE team of scholars into color groups and rotate the color groups through a schedule on Monday and Tuesday where every teacher on your team sees every scholar? The ideas are endless. The goal? To make these last three days meaningful, intentional, engaging, fun, exciting, memorable ALL THE WHILE working on the WHOLE CHILD! Throughout the week we will be sending you a variety of ideas to use.
