Open Enrollment for the 2020-2021 School Year
The Public school open enrollment program in Wisconsin allows parents to apply for their children to attend a public school in a school district other than the one in which they reside. The regular open enrollment application period for the 2020-21 school year begins on February 3, 2020, and ends at 4:00 pm on April 30, 2020. The best way to apply is online, the online application is available at https://dpi.wi.gov/open-enrollment during the application period.
The Holy Hill Area School District Board of Education will review enrollment numbers and approve the number of open seats for the 2020-2021 school year at the January board meeting.

FLES:
Mr. Laird and several Friess Lake Elementary staff (Ms. Jennifer Bailey, Ms. Kelly Downs, Ms. Paige Parish, Ms. Kristine Roznowski, Ms. Jen Shattuck, Ms. Dautie Siegman, Ms. Nicole Siem, and Ms. Jenna Thurin) shared in this presentation. Mr. Laird and the FLES staff discussed such items as; leadership, training, School Leadership and Innovation Team (SLAIT), alignment with continuous improvement plan, goal areas, key performance indicators, measures of success, strategies developed, core values, raising scholars and great people, KPI facilitators, PLC, Forward and FAST result baselines, Plan Do Study and Act (PDSA), RtI, and other assessment measures. Community involvement and volunteerism was also brought up and contributions to these efforts were discussed.
RMS:
Mr. Carron presented the mid-year report to the School Board for Richfield Middle School at the first School Board meeting in January. His comprehensive report included a review of the RMS Plan on a Page, alignment with the district plan, and teacher leadership in goal teams (learning and academics, community service and co-curriculars, engagement, and safe and orderly schools). He shared the leadership displayed by groups like the Building Leadership Team, Kindness Club, and Raider Reps. He also highlighted the behind the scenes work of Ms. Tomich, Ms. Restivo, Ms. Hose, Ms. Large, Mr. Shelsta, and Mr. Cirillo.
Holy Hill Area School District recently sent out letters to those parents/guardians of students currently attending the district who have immunizations that are not up to date. It is important that you contact your doctor or local health department to determine if your child needs to update their immunizations. These immunization requirements can be waived for health, religious or personal conviction reasons but the proper waiver documentation must be filled out and turned into the school to ensure the district is meeting the minimum immunization requirements for students attending the district. Below are the immunizations that are recommended for your child depending on his/her age. The district asks that you please update your child’s immunizations as soon as possible. Parents can use the student immunization record form attached https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/forms/f0/f04020l.pdf to update your child’s immunizations or complete the waiver section within this form. The district asks that you please provide a copy of your child’s most recent immunizations or complete the waiver section of the student immunization form to make certain we maintain compliance within the district. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Jodie Dietrich at 262-628-2380.
