Meet Ms. Koenig

Ms. Koenig is the new middle school math teacher in our district. She started just before winter break. Our Raider Leaders learned a lot while interviewing her. Here are three fun facts:

  1. She was Miss Milwaukee Schwaben! Queen of a men's choir >> Shwaben Mannerchor.
  2. Her favorite movie is Mama Mia
  3. She enjoys spending time with her seventeen-year-old brother.

What have our students been up to?

Outdoor Classroom

Kindergarteners from Mrs. Klapperich’s class enjoyed looking for signs of animals in winter. Students noticed last year’s swallows’ nests on the wall of the school. Then they found two vole holes in the prairie that were connected by tiny tracks. They saw a larger trail near the edge of the woods that was made by squirrels or rabbits. Finally, they made their own tracks by walking, running, and jumping to see the differences in spacing. What a fun time in the snow!

Third Grade Showcase

The week before the end of the trimester the 3rd graders at Friess Lake Elementary School put on their very own Biography Showcase to celebrate the end of their Nonfiction Readers Workshop unit! Students worked hard researching their chosen person from the past or present and put together a poster, poster board, or slideshow presentation to share their knowledge with other students and families. Students were beaming with pride to show off their projects!

Click the button above to read about the minimum required immunizations according to the Wisconsin Student Immunization Law.

Holy Hill Area School District recently sent out letters to those parents/guardians of students currently attending the district who have immunizations that are not up to date. It is important that you contact your doctor or local health department to determine if your child needs to update their immunizations. These immunization requirements can be waived for health, religious or personal conviction reasons but the proper waiver documentation must be filled out and turned into the school to ensure the district is meeting the minimum immunization requirements for students attending the district. Below are the immunizations that are recommended for your child depending on his/her age. The district asks that you please update your child’s immunizations as soon as possible. Parents can use the student immunization record form attached https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/forms/f0/f04020l.pdf to update your child’s immunizations or complete the waiver section within this form. The district asks that you please provide a copy of your child’s most recent immunizations or complete the waiver section of the student immunization form to make certain we maintain compliance within the district. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Jodie Dietrich at 262-628-2380.
