Spirit Committee, thanks for surprising us with Homecoming Floats (ice cream floats) after Thursday night’s practice.

This week is your chance to purchase a marching band group photo. The photo features the band members dressed in their game day uniforms with the new semi-trailer. We are offering an 8 x 10 photo for $10. The deadline for orders is Friday, September 25. To download and print the order form, Click Here.

It’s disappointing to miss the experience of performing at Lucas Oil Stadium at the BOA Indianapolis Super Regional. However, BOA has created a nice patch for 2020. Please consider adding this to your band jacket.

Please join us on Thursday, September 24 at 8:00pm for "Family Night at the Stadium". This is a great opportunity for families that are not able to attend the football games to see the show performed. This informal show happens every Thursday night during practices and is open to band families. Please remember to wear a mask and observe physical distancing while sitting in the stands like any event in the stadium. Do not sit on the red tape and stay together as a family.

This week, we have invited the 8th grade band students to attend the practice from the stands. During a normal Homecoming, the 8th graders would spend time with the high school band before the football game, then perform the fight song with the band on the field. Inviting the students to the practice is the best experience we can offer at this time.

Everyone is welcome to join us for a night of celebration of this marching band season at the stadium on Thursday, October 1 at 8:00pm. We will recognize the hard work of our students in spite of uncertain and challenging circumstances. This event is replacing the marching band banquet that would have happened in November but was cancelled.

· Football tickets will go on sale Monday morning, September 28.

· Thursday, October 1 at 8pm – Marching Band Awards at the stadium

· Friday, October 2 Game Day

• Perform exciting Pregame
• Perform show “Any Way the Wind Blows”
• Band will perform during the game

Snap! Raise is a company that helps school organizations raise money. The FC band program is raising funds to cover for a budget shortfall caused by event cancellations due to Coronavirus. Snap! Raise uses crowdfunding to solicit donations. In 2018, the FC Band program used Snap! Raise to raise $11,000 towards new uniforms. To learn more about the campaign: Click here.

The Craft Fair Committee is deeply saddened to announce the in-person event will be cancelled for this year because of Covid-19 restrictions. We are currently reviewing virtual options.
