Husky Pride Drawings

Throughout the week our incredible Huskies put their Pride Tickets they earn from teachers into a bucket to be in a drawing on Friday.

This week our Huskey ticket winners had popcorn! Congrats Huskies for another week of doing the right thing and being awesome!

Thursday, October 21st from 4:30 - 8:00

Friday, October 22nd from 8:00 - noon

Elton Gregory will be hosting Parent/Teacher conferences on the evening of Thursday, October 21st, and the morning of Friday, October 22nd. Our teachers would very much like to talk about the progress of your student, as well as discuss any of your concerns and a plan for moving forward successfully.

We will be using appointments for conference scheduling. Parents/guardians must now choose a specific appointment time through our Synergy management system. Conference sign up will open on October 6th.

Due to COVID, conferences will be conducted through a phone call or a virtual meeting-- the choice is yours. The link to the virtual meeting or the dial-in phone number will be displayed on the Conferences tab in your ParentVue account.

Looking forward to our conference time together.

School Supplies

Parents/Guardians! Now is the time to take a quick peek at your student's school supplies. We recommend taking a peek once per month to make sure students have enough pencils, highlighters, and loose leaf paper.

Thank you for your support!

Here are a few links that will help you track your student’s learning, assignments, and feedback they are receiving from each of your student’s teachers. All this information can be accessed in our online student learning platform, CANVAS. Your student is one month into trimester 1 and there are assignments, grades, feedback, and lessons available waiting for you to access.

The links below can help you get access to CANVAS. These links also have videos and links to directions in Spanish

1. Student Device Readiness Steps

2. CANVAS Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

3. Setting up a Parent Canvas Account

We hope this information is helpful. We invite you to log in to CANVAS often to check on your student’s progress and then discuss with your student what they are learning.

If you have questions please let us know. Thank you,
